Seasons Greetings

The holidays are fast approaching, and Ray Real Estate would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support during 2019.

It’s been an interesting year in property. The market bottomed out through the early part of the year, but has recovered well, buoyed by falling interest rates, the prospect of another rate cut early next year and less stringent lending criteria.

In our area specifically, the median house price in Kingscliff rose from $975,000 in January to $1,092,500 in early December – a 12% increase! Casuarina also enjoyed a 4% increase to the median house price, now sitting at $1,200,000. Who would have thought prices would reach this level when Casuarina was first released back in 2001?

The New Tweed Coast, specifically the Kingscliff / Casuarina region, is close to complete, with the sell-out of the new Casuarina Village residential land release. This means prices should continue to rise, as demand for our area is extremely high and available stock is low.

2020 is sure to be a great time to sell! Please come and see us if you wish to discuss your options.

Our office will be closed for the Christmas / New Year break from Saturday 21 December and will re-open Monday 6 January. We look forward to seeing you all again in the new year.

The team at Ray Real Estate wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and a very prosperous 2020!

We have had excellent service and communication with our property manager who always seems to go the extra mile in ensuring that both landlord and tenant are satisfied and the property is in good order.
