Airbnb illegal in NSW

Airbnb illegal
The NSW government has announced it is now illegal to stay in an Airbnb or other similar short-term accommodation without a lawful reason.
The new restrictions are in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the many new rules designed to stop the spread of the virus is that we should not be staying anywhere except our primary place of residence, deeming Airbnb illegal.
Exceptions are in place for people needing short-term accommodation for work or education, or to take care of someone.
The short term rental market is significant in Australia, with more than 30,000 homes leased on a short term basis last year. Many of those property owners rely on the income for their day-to-day living expenses.
If you have a short term rental property in Kingscliff, Casuarina, Cabarita or Bogangar, why not consider a temporary measure to keep the money coming in? We can assist you in finding and managing a quality 6 or 12 month lease so you can continue to receive cash flow during this difficult period.
Air BNB = No Income
